Novo Nordisk - Hypoglycaemia ‘One is one too many’ Campaign

Action: Hypoglycaemic episodes can cause death. The brief aimed to get healthcare professionals to prioritise hypoglycaemia when starting their patients with type 2 diabetes on insulin.

Reaction: Creation of a Hypoglycaemia Awareness campaign ‘One is one too many’. The campaign portrays the story of Julie, a patient with type 2 diabetes, as she experiences a hypoglycaemic episode while driving. The progression of Julie’s symptoms is visible, and the viewer is left feeling uneasy, even slightly alarmed, that the episode may have caused an accident. This was a particularly creative answer to the brief given the film’s and VR ability to encapsulate every element of the hypoglycaemia awareness concept in a memorable, hard-hitting, emotional story.
